OUR GOAL
Millions of people around the world claim the name of Christ or claim to be christian. This site is for Christians to come together as one in the body of Christ. Some of us may have differences in are faiths or denominations the goal here at Christ First is to get people to read the scriptures for answers about the things God has made clear in his word and and learn not to listen to out side sources that may not match Gods word. We ask that you be respectful of other peoples point of views and enjoy this site. Take it as an opportunity to fellowship, grow and maybe even witness to others in and out of the faith. Have fun!!!

If a Christian commits suicide will he go to heaven or hell ?explain your answer
They will go to hell because they are killing God's creation, themselves!!
ReplyDeleteSuicide is murder, the six commandment says thou shall not kill. and suicide is exactly that.I feel awful for the christian that does this.The only way you can avoid this is if you look at CHRIST and what he did for us at the CROSS.
ReplyDeleteI know there are people that feel you can lose your salvation in certain situation such as this one but there are no scripture to support that view but there are many to support the fact that God has you from the moment you trust in the Christ until you die no matter how that maybe.Here are lots of verses to back it up Isaiah 43:1-3,john 10:27-30 john 5:24,john 17:11,12,Romans 8:1 and 8:29-30 Romans 8:35-39 and the list goes on i can give at least 20 more but please read these verses and then comment remember there was nothing you could do to get your salvation so what can you possible do to lose it.If you disagree share your view and we can look to the word together.
ReplyDeleteI have to admit, at first I was quite perplexed by this question. It is questions such as these that encourage me to take a deeper look at the contents within my bible. Topics such as these are “brain busters” so to speak that require some thought and dependence of his guidance on the matter. Having said it is my opinion that we analyze the question; if a Christian commits suicide will he go to heaven or hell? So what is a Christian? The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines a Christian as one who professes belief in the teachings of Jesus Christ. John 16:33 (NKJV) These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” 1 John 4:4 (NKJV) You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. To better answer the question I would have to know what is the motive or circumstance leading to the act. For instance I do not feel the need for suicide as a way to “escape” or“solution” to life’s problems if in fact you actually profess and trust in Jesus, because as fore stated the Savior has already overcome the world. 1 Peter 4:12-13 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trail which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. We read in John 10:23 that no one is able to snatch them out of my hand, could it be that this “Christian” could also be a false convert? Believing that everything would be peaches and cream, candy and cake, but instead received broccoli that they were never told was on the menu? 1 Peter 2:21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than after they have known it, turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
